Halloween Time!

The last couple weeks have been crazy around here. It seems like we haven't stopped all month. I have to admit, I am glad Halloween is over. I felt like it went on forever. Here are some pics of the past couple days.
We are still trying to figure out something to do with Kate's hair, or lack of. If it isn't in pigtails, it is a very awful mullet. But I feel like if they are in pigtails, it looks like I am trying to do something with nothing. Anyway, here are some cute pictures....just don't mind the hair!
Kate, 15 months old.

Instead of dressing up with their costumes, Will and Tayson's preschool had a crazy hat parade and "concert". It ended up being very cute, except for the fact that Tayson stood by me...not up on the stage!

Tayson having a fit!
Scott has been working non-stop all week so he finally made it home one night in time to carve pumpkins. We had the pumpkins for about 4 days before Scott was able to get home and the boys were dying to do it.
Kate has become a big wrestler. She will come up to you and jump on you. Will loves to play with her now that she is bigger.

I promise they all love each other...we just have our moments. (Notice Will has Tayson in the head lock and Tayson has Kate.)
Grandma Richards was a trooper during Halloween because she didn't feel well but it didn't slow her down. She always does a "party" for the grand kids.

One of the traditions...eating a donut off a string without touching it.
Tayson didn't think it looked like that much fun! Bobbing for apples.

Finally time to dress up. Will was batman. Tayson was supposed to be Buzz Lightyear...but ended up wearing Spiderman. Kate was Tinkerbell!

Kate's first sucker!...(and many did follow!)
Waiting to go trick-or-treating.

Tayson and Carter were not too sure about this house. They both just stood there and stared at the door.

Will is FINALLY 5!!

I can't believe that Will is 5. It seems like he has been "almost" 5 for 6 months now (since a lot of his friends have already turned 5). Anyway, he decided he wanted a Batman party at the gymnastics place by our house. They have a coach take all the kids around and they get to run around and jump on things and swing on things. He loved it and they all had a blast!

He insisted on a Batman cake and I insisted on making it myself. Bad idea and I will now purchase cakes! Anyway, this was the result!
Will and Tayson waiting for their friends to arrive!
Friends finally come and the fun begins! Jumping on the trampoline.
Will and Johnny
Will trying to get out of the foam pit.
Tayson jumping into the foam pit.

BJ Morris being a kid.

They some how talked Scott into going through the tiny, black tunnel that ends in a slide. Then he managed to convince me, BJ, and Eden to do it also.

The whole crew!

Eating pizza!
Cake time!
Will was a good sport because he let Tayson sit with him while he was opening presents!

Pigtails?

I have been waiting for Kate to have enough hair to actually do something with it...I realized this week that we are far from it. These little "pigtails" only lasted about two minutes. Maybe when she turns two she will have a little more to play with!

The Last Couple Weeks!

Nothing big has happened the past couple weeks...just a couple picture moments!
Here is Tayson and his buddy Carter in their matching truck pj's.
Kate enjoying baby cheetos (this is what Will calls them).
Scott's birthday was on Labor Day so we have a Labor Day party (not a birthday party). Emily was kind enough to bring a football pinata with Scott's favorite candy in it.

Will and Cody posing with the broken pinata.
Tayson and Zach...soon to be good friends.
Scott blowing out his Labor Day candles.
it has been drizzling here for awhile. So, the boys have made it a tradition to play in the rain while Kate and I stay in the garage. (Will won't ride his big bike b/c he says he will get hit by lightning on it.)

Tayson doing "no hands".
So, I went to pick up Will from preschool yesterday and he has this big red spot on his forehead. I asked his teacher what happened and he laughed. He was bored during rest time and started rubbing his head on the carpet (he said his head itched) and got a rug burn. This was when we got home.
This was the next morning...all scabbed over. He has decided he won't do that again.
The boys both had to take snack to school today and insisted on a picture with the snacks.Kate is teething like crazy right now...always something in her mouth.

She loves her hair bows!

I couldn't figure out where Kate was the other day and I finally heard her by the stairs...yep, she was all the way up looking down at me.

Kate's new hiding spot!

Soccer.

Will had his first soccer game last weekend. To say the least, he had a good time. I don't think he touched the ball much but he thinks he did awesome!
He wanted me to take some action pictures of him running.
I think he was more excited about his new water bottle then he was about playing.
Tayson realizing that he isn't playing soccer. Maybe next year!
At the game.
His coach told him to stand on the line until it was his turn to play. He didn't get off that spot the whole time until the coach was ready for him. At least he listens!

First Day of Preschool

Will and Tayson started preschool today. Will has been waiting since most of his friends started kindergarten this year. He just barely missed the cutoff but I am glad to have him home for another year. Will is going 3 days a week and Tayson is only going 2 but it is from 9:30-2:30 so I am so excited to grocery shop with only one child! Here are some pictures I took this morning. Neither one really wanted to perform so this was the best I could get.

Their cool new shoes...needed a picture of them.

Kate during all the madness.
Tayson was the most excited about his lunchbox.
When I brought Kate home, she just kinda looked around and wondered where everyone went...so she made friends with the doggie door. We have had it since she was born but she never really played with it. I guess when your brothers are gone, you make do.

She could not figure out why her head wouldn't go through.

Huge Milestone

Tayson is now chewing gum. When did he get so old?

For the record, this was not my choice. My mom sent Tayson a card in the mail and in it was a piece of gum. My mom didn't even warn me. She said I wouldn't have given it to him...which is probably true.
